M.O.R.E.

M.O.R.E.'s Mission: M.O.R.E. is a private non-profit, 501(c)(3), that makes dreams come true for the people we serve. We are purpose-driven leaders committed to improving the quality of life of these special individuals we connect with every day. We celebrated our 50th Anniversary in 2019 with the culmination of a 20-year dream of a new facility that will enhance the services of the people we serve and significantly impact the community.

With a staff that is both exceptionally talented and deeply dedicated to our vision and Mission, we pursue this work with great humility. Our volunteer Board of Directors represents leaders from all sectors of our community who are engaged with the organization and whose scope of influence extends beyond El Dorado County.

MORE is committed to making a difference through their work. They seek to understand what can be, not simply what is.

HappyTails Canine Wellness & M.O.R.E. Partnership: Under the visionary leadership of M.O.R.E.'s Executive Director Susie Davies, M.O.R.E. has instituted a remarkable program that brings emotional support and therapy dogs together with M.O.R.E's clients struggling with developmental, behavioral, and intellectual challenges. The results have been miraculous and inspired additional creative arts programs that honor these canine heroes. HappyTails Canine Wellness is proud to support these important canine-related programs by donating our remarkable treats and supplements to help keep these heroic dogs happy and healthy!

A wonderful give-back, Puppy Love™ also donates 20% of all proceeds back into the local rescue community.

HappyTails Canine Wellness & Puppy Love Party Partnership: Founder Sabrina Freed is truly passionate about building bonds between puppies and people! Her innovative programs are in high demand by some of the world's largest and most powerful companies and executives, including Google, Apple, Microsoft, LinkedIn Meta, and many more. Golden Retriever Rescue of Mid Florida (GRRMF)

Mission: Our ongoing Mission is saving, protecting, and rehoming golden retrievers, retriever breeds, and blends with golden hearts who have lost their home and families.

HappyTails Canine Wellness & GRRMF Partnership:  Founder Carol Forsberg lead this extraordinary organization to perfection! The relentless and challenging hurricane seasons in Florida have unfortunately resulted in homeless Goldens who need rescuing. The GRRMF network of foster families and shelters has successfully rescued thousands of pups for over 20 years and ensured their placement in wonderful homes. Additionally, they offer world-class programs to train emotional support and therapy dog teams, and so much more.

NORCAL Golden Retriever Rescue (NCGRR)

Mission: This is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization whose Mission is to rescue and place adoptable Golden Retrievers in Northern California in safe, loving homes, thereby improving the lives of both the dog and the adoption household. We are happy to accept Golden Mixes and bonded pairs that include at least one Golden Retriever into our care and placement process.

NCGRR offers placement services for owners who need to give up their dogs because of changing life circumstances such as relocation, financial hardship, divorce, allergies, illness, or death. We offer them an alternative to taking their pets to an animal shelter or humane society. We also rescue abandoned, neglected, and abused Golden Retrievers. Depending on the economy, roughly 100 to 150 dogs per year find a haven when they find us.

Unlike some rescue groups, we take senior dogs (over 8 years old) and find them a safe, loving home to spend the rest of their lives. We also take dogs with medical conditions and pay for treatment, including surgery, where the dog has a reasonably good chance of pain-free living lives. The most frequent conditions we treat are typically hip dysplasia and other orthopedic problems.

HappyTails Canine Wellness & NCGRR Partnership:  We are truly honored and proud to partner with this outstanding organization by providing our products to help feed the fosters, seniors, special needs goldens, and the rescues they serve. Since 1994 this group has cultivated generations of passionate volunteers, advocates, and activists who take the surrender and adoption process seriously and make every effort to ensure the welfare of each and every dog they serve.
