Wonder

My name is Ehlena and I was born with cerebral palsy, a neurological condition that limits my mobility. My service dog, is a goldendoodle named Wonder. He has been trained to help me maintain my balance, open and shut doors, turn on lights, retrieve items off the ground, and similar tasks. My mom Stacy is in awe at how Wonder has helped me grow more confident. My mom and I recently won a case that we brought to the U.S. Supreme Court so that my school would allow Wonder to go to class with me. I think this ruling will make it easier for other students to seek similar resolutions in the future.

Bella

I have a wonderful support dog, Bella. She can sense when I’m dealing with difficult emotions and is trained to comfort and protect me. She lays on my lap and even guides my hands if needed. Because of Bella I was able to heal from serious trauma and live a much more fulfilling life. I know I am her whole world, and I’m eternally grateful for her loving companionship and healing energy.

CoCo

My son Blake has epilepsy. His seizures come without warning, so he falls and hits his head on the ground when they hit. Because of this, my son has had several concussions, just making his condition worse. We finally got our service dog CoCo and she senses when my son is about to have a seizure, warns him, then guides him to a place where he can sit or lay down. It’s remarkable to think about the life-saving role CoCo has in our family. She has made all the difference in the quality of my son’s life. We are truly grateful for CoCo and want her to have the best life possible.
